Key job responsibilities The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Senior Technical Programme Manager to support projects growing our Data Centre infrastructure. Lead cross-functional and technical teams to deliver new Data Centres, from strategy and design to budget, implementation, testing, and deployment, including all dependencies needed for delivery. Interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results. Comfortable managing remote project delivery teams, facilitating technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success. Build cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate unnecessary activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate project delivery. Familiar with a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle; demonstrate experience in scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metrics; experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Qualifications 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience. Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (e.g., network, data center, hardware, software). Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex problems and collaborate with partner teams to develop innovative solutions. Able to deep dive and define infrastructure requirements.
