About the Opportunity: Acciona has been nominated to deliver a program of works for Western Power relating to the Clean Energy Link. These works will see us upgrading and installing transmission lines and upgrading substations to enable the green energy to flow to Perth. To help us deliver this project, we are now seeking a suitably experienced Senior Project Engineer to manage the delivery of the civil packages associated with the project. Key accountabilities for the position: Reporting to our Construction Manager, the scope of the role will see you: Work with our design teams to provide overall feedback and constructability reviews Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers; Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors and superintendents Oversee and manage the procurement of plant, equipment and resources Provide regular reporting including end of month cost reviews and reporting Skills and Experience Needed: You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or something similar Ideally you will have extensive experience on site working on a range of diverse civil works You will be able to manage and drive program as well as display a high level of competency around contracts/financial management & team leadership Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
