Job summary: Flexible hours available More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Specialist with expertise in Radiology Information Systems (RIS) , Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) , and related imaging workflows. You will work closely with radiologists, technicians, and IT teams to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and enhancement of medical imaging infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain radiology systems (RIS, PACS, Modality Worklists, DICOM services). Provide technical support to radiology staff, resolving system and integration issues. Manage interfaces between imaging equipment, EHR systems, and third-party applications. Implement upgrades, patches, and performance tuning for radiology IT systems. Ensure system compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and security protocols. Train staff on effective use of radiology IT systems and best practices. Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare IT, with a strong focus on radiology systems. Proven knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE standards, and medical imaging workflows. Experience supporting and troubleshooting RIS/PACS in a hospital or clinic environment. Familiarity with system integration, networking, and data security in healthcare settings.
