ABOUT THE ROLE The Manager oversees the daily activities of the Novated Settlements team and is responsible for the settlement and lease activation of new and extended leases entered into by SG Fleet’s Novated clients. This role is responsible for delivering 100% compliance against SG Fleet settlement and lease activation KPI and SLA targets. It is also responsible for the efficient and professional management of all Funders, team members and general SG Fleet requirements. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage key events/tasks of the settlement process life cycle - with all stakeholders, in accordance with SG Fleet policy and procedures. Monitor KPI and SLA performance and manage change to ensure the companies commitments and goals are met. Coach, manage and develop team members in settling deals with the Financier and providing optimal customer service to the Novated portfolio. Demonstrate leadership behaviour to develop staff, build a positive work culture where people aspire to excel, while maintaining high productivity levels. Ensure team’s workload is managed effectively and identify any potential issues that may impact the business Develop maintain and foster relationships with all internal staff and departments to enhance the understanding of lease activations, specific to the Novated product, to help sales achieve the results they require to build SG Fleet’s leasing portfolio. Develop, maintain and manage relationships with the key Financiers to ensure that the team efficiently deliver on our commitments. Respond to any complaints and queries from both employees and employers, internal and external, and resolve the cause of any problems identified quickly, efficiently and in a view to promote best customer service practices. Create and manage daily, weekly and monthly Novated reports to management and the leadership group. Manage the Settlements Pipeline for the Novated product via reports on all deliveries. Ensure that the data entered by and or managed by the Novated Settlements team is accurate and up to date at all times Identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement with an aim to maximize efficiencies and reduce financial risk. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Diploma or degree in business-related discipline (desirable) Effective negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills Ability to develop and implement change management strategies Experience in leading, motivating and developing team members to their full potential Track record of solving problems by working consultatively with others and demonstrated capability to take the lead and make decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop staff and build positive work culture Technical qualification in the motor vehicle industry or similar trade related qualifications is desirable Experience in strategic management of organisational change including the taking of a lead role in conducting reviews and implementing change management initiatives is desirable Leasing/fleet management industry experience or previous retail/wholesale experience is desirable ABOUT YOU High integrity and strong understanding of professional ethics Actively creates useful internal, external and cross-functional relationships Critically analyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance and accountability A collaborative and engaging working and leadership style Strong organisational and prioritisation skills – meets specified deadlines and reports regularly on progress Encourages learning and development in others.
