Primary objective Implement contemporary and effective regional engagement / readiness plan to support the engagement of NT Health staff and uptake of new core clinical systems; develop and manage ongoing regional engagement activities including progress of the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program with Central Australia and Barkly stakeholders. Digital Project Services (DPS) delivers very complex, high value, and high-risk ICT programs and multi-year digital transformation initiatives for core frontline services through an inter-agency collaborative approach. Working closely with the client Agencies, the team comprises of public sector employees and contractors working together to deliver multiple streams of activity as programs are implemented. The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced and results driven with high expectations of superior service delivery. The CCSRP is a major technology program that will transform the delivery of health care services for Territorians by delivering a Territory-wide single, integrated health electronic record system. Key duties and responsibilities 1. Implement the approved regional engagement strategy / readiness plan and other core engagement and communication materials. 2. Initiate and provide quality advice to the Director Engagement and Change on strategies, plans and actions required for effective communication and stakeholder engagement. 3. Develop and maintain all regional CCSRP key engagement and communication tools including social media, intranet/internet, communiques, newsletters and external presentations; ensuring all messages are tailored relevant to intended audiences. 4. Establish, maintain and effectively manage collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external key stakeholders. Liaise with the CCSRP team and relevant governance committees to ensure consistency of information and messages about the program. 5. Monitor the effectiveness and impact of the engagement with key stakeholders and adjust as necessary. 6. Work with the Director Engagement and Change and team to integrate engagement activities into the overall business change program plan and all projects within the CCSRP program. 7. Prepare all other engagement activities as directed by the Director Engagement and Change and actively contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of the Program. 8. Follow defined service quality standards, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Selection criteria Essential 1. Ability to identify the relationship between organisational goals and operational tasks and clearly communicate decisions, reasoning, goals and objectives. 2. Ability to understand the work environment and its influences and use high level written communication skills necessary for the formulation of quality engagement plans, strategies, policies and frameworks. 3. Demonstrates understanding of contemporary strategic engagement, communications and public relations trends, principles and methodologies and knowledge of strategies, tactics and protocols that enable effective and productive stakeholder relations. 5. Knowledge and understanding of the public health sector and an understanding of the principles underlying the effective provision of health services. 6. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage competing priorities and remain agile in a fast-paced working environment. 7. Qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications and/or experience in the Health or Information Technology industries (IT).
