As part of the Cultural and Community Development team, you will also plan, deliver, promote and support a range of community events that activate the Central Business District and enhance our public spaces. Also, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Todd Mall Traders Association, to ensure efficient and effective project execution through meaningful consultation and collaboration. Click here for the position Description Applications are invited and will be considered until the position is successfully filled Skills And Experiences We are seeking a driven professional who excels in fast-paced settings and delivers meaningful outcomes for the community who can bring: Qualification(s) or experience in Event Management and/or Public Art Strong understanding of how events, activations and public art contribute to achieving Council’s vision for the Town of Alice Springs High-level written communication skills, with experience producing quality reports Strong organisational, innovative problem-solving, and adaptable time management abilities Experience in management of public art including development of scope, consultation, design and implementation phases Knowledge of placemaking principles and their role in building resilient, connected communities Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups and stakeholders Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings where required Please note: A current National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months , is an essential requirement for this position.
