The role Working as a Porter is known in the industry as the “fun role”. Why? Well, you spend your time walking around the hotel (hello step count) chatting with our hotel guests (yes you get paid to make friends) and making their stay one to remember (it feels good!). It includes everything from recommending and booking tours (hello commission), helping with luggage (yes, some guests still tip) and parking guest cars valet style (a driver’s license is a must).
