Opportunity to join growing ASX-listed leader in its field in our Group Asset division! This Asset Administrator/Coordinator role will be offered as an 8-month fixed-term role with a possibility of extension. This role is based out of our modern head office, across from Southern Cross Station, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light. About the role In this role you will: Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specifications are configured correctly meeting fit-for-purpose requirements. Manage asset utilisation and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs. Support with the provision of repairs and maintenance requests, fuel cards, tolls, telematics, infringements, breakdowns, and accident management services. Maintain the asset database, and other applicable databases. Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturer’s / regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines. Coordinate the disposal of surplus with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the company. Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions. Ensure the physical protection, security, and control of all assets. About you This role would suit someone more junior in their career with some exposure to asset management, or someone more experienced looking for a shorter-term role in a great company. Our ideal candidate will have: Asset management and/or contract management experience (desirable) Experience in leasing and asset ownership management (desirable but not essential) Strong communication skills to support our internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in using MS Office suite (outlook, excel). Experience with light, heavy commercial, plant and equipment assets (desirable).
