Your next opportunity Reporting to the Category Manager-Services and Contractors, the Procurement Specialist- Services will support the delivery of category strategies, procurement projects and supplier management plans for Indirect spend portfolio, which encompasses facilities management, labour hire, insurances, travel, marketing and HR. The Procurement Specialist will run successful procure to pay projects and tender processes for the high value Services and Contractors category, ensuring Boral is receiving the best value from the supply market and that supply risks are managed. Interfacing broadly across the Boral business with key internal stakeholders and suppliers, this role engages across the end-to-end procurement process, providing guidance and support in managing suppliers. Your day will involve: Assist with delivery and deployment of national and regional spend and supplier management strategies. Support with implementation of multi-year category plans, delivery of value benefits, sourcing, change management and supplier management plans. Collaborate with the Category team and stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver value against agreed targets around savings / value delivery, risk management and governance for national and regional spend. Support the Category Team in managing sourcing activities and end-to-end procurement process for the programs/projects. Prepare tenders, contracts and evaluation methodology documentation with input from the procurement cross-functional team, including the accurate recording of minutes of procurement meetings. Facilitate contract documentation and the award and execution of the contract. Prepare accurate and timely spend data and related insights for procurement categories and procure to pay process. What are we looking for? A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Law or Finance Experience running successful tender processes across indirect categories, any previous facilities management experience will be highly regarded Strong analytical skills and competency with analytical tools to interpret information and be able to provide insights/recommendations Advanced level skills within MS Office suite Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
