Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Manager to join our team on a contract, part-time basis in New South Wales OR Victoria. This role focuses on product training and sales calls, with the primary objective of enhancing our clients' market presence and driving sales within the region. The position offers flexibility and the potential to evolve into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Product Training: Deliver comprehensive training sessions to the tourism industry, ensuring a deep understanding of our clients' products and services. Sales Calls: Conduct regular sales calls and meetings with existing and potential new agents and tour operators, wholesalers to promote our offerings and secure new business opportunities. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry, including travel agencies, tour operators, and other industry partners. Conference attendance: Attending conferences on behalf of our supplier partners FAM Tour Host: Assist in organising and host FAM trips globally in conjunction with our supplier's partners. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, providing feedback to the internal team and clients. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and training sessions, providing regular reports to management. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the travel and tourism industry. Strong knowledge of the New South Wales and Victorian travel markets and established industry contacts. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct engaging training sessions. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
