About the Role We are seeking a dependable and professional After-Hours Emergency Response Officer to support a government contract in the Perth Central District. This is a night-shift and weekend role , requiring availability to respond to urgent incidents, make sites safe, and coordinate specialist contractors. We are looking for a minimum of two to four staff members to share the roster and ensure full coverage. Shift Coverage Requirements Monday to Thursday: 4:00 pm – 6:00 am (overnight shifts) Friday 4:00 pm – Monday 6:00 am: Continuous weekend coverage on rotating shifts Public Holidays: Coverage as rostered (penalty rates apply) Key Responsibilities Attend after-hours call-outs promptly, meeting agreed service levels Assess incidents, implement safety measures, and arrange necessary repairs Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to coordinate works Complete clear incident reports with photos and supporting information Comply with Workplace Health & Safety and fatigue management requirements Operate company vehicle, tools, and PPE responsibly and professionally Requirements Trade, handyman, maintenance, or traffic management background advantageous Physically fit, confident working independently, and calm under pressure Strong communication skills and professional presentation Current WA Driver’s Licence (manual preferred) Police clearance or ability to obtain Flexibility for night and weekend work Desirable First Aid Certificate Traffic Management Accreditation Previous government or emergency response experience What We Offer Role on a high-profile government contract Training, PPE, vehicle, and equipment provided for use during shifts Support from an experienced, integrated facilities management team
