The Public Trustee and Guardian for the ACT promotes and supports the rights, interests and life decisions of our clients and to deliver excellent trustee outcomes for the ACT community. We perform a range of functions, deliver services under a range of legislation, and work closely with other ACT Government agencies and stakeholders. The Finance and Investments Unit have a permanent opportunity for a motivated and well organised professional who is skilled in financial markets/financial planning/accounting to perform the role of Finance and Investments Officer in the Finance and Investments Unit. The position will work in a close-knit and supportive team in a busy work unit, whose job is to assist in the in the maintenance of PTG’s Trust account including financial processes and its managing Common Funds. The responsibilities of the position include financial duties such as end of month processed and accounts payable/receivable, the position will also have responsibilities for the administration of PTG’s Common Funds including investment plans and reviews of clients. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are highly desirable.
