The Position As an integral member of our high-performing Finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in administering the Society’s accounts payable processes. Responsibilities include managing the finance inbox, processing invoices, overseeing credit card processes, monthly bank reconciliations, and responding to finance-related queries. You'll also contribute to end of month processes, and assist with other finance functions as required. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations. About You You are a detail-oriented finance professional with a sound understanding of accounting practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You thrive in a dynamic environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and are capable of delivering high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. You hold qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping, and have 1 to 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or related role . An understanding of accounting principles and practices such as prepayments, accruals, cross-charges and reconciliation is essential. Familiarity with TechnologyOne, ExpenseMe, Excel and/or other financial systems is highly regarded.
