We are seeking the services of an experienced Senior Project Co-ordinator with the capabilities to support the delivery of projects within the Data & Digital Delivery Office, in the Program Services team. The Data & Digital Group provides information, computing, and communications solutions to enable the Bureau to provide the highest quality of observations, weather, climate, ocean, and hydrological products and services to Australia. The Delivery Office provides project delivery services, and this role will be key to delivering projects and programs undertaken through the Delivery Office. The role will be responsible for supporting project planning, delivery of outputs and outcomes set out in the plan(s) and co-ordinating key activities through the project lifecycle in accordance with the Bureau Delivery Framework. Senior Project Co-ordinators support the end-to-end delivery of assigned Information and Communications Technology portfolios, programs and projects, ensuring risks, issues, dependencies, changes, quality, finances, artefacts, procurements, team members, stakeholders and managed and project governance requirements are met. Specifically, for these roles, we require experience in large scale technology portfolios, programs, procurement and financial management. The key duties of the position include The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: 1. Support the delivery of assigned programs and projects, under a PRINCE2-based framework in alignment with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Framework, Bureau Delivery Framework and ICT Delivery Model. 2. Oversee the portfolio of IT project schedule(s). 3. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes and quality across the portfolio. 4. Undertake advanced financial tracking, forecasting and reporting for the portfolio including using the EPMO-endorsed project tracking tools, and represent projects for all associated project meetings. 5. Manage and maintain key program and project artefacts meeting governance requirements, Bureau standards and ensuring contribution to the continual uplift of governance, standards, processes and templates. 6. Co-ordinate program and project resources to deliver work packages and products, ensuring resource forecasting, facilitating onboarding, supporting team performance and engaging all relevant parties. 7. Assist with the delivery of services including Design, Build, Testing, Transition to Operations (including GoLive Documentation), Technology Change Management, Implementation and Post Implementation Review. 8. Liaise with key stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged and informed while anticipating internal/external client needs and issues. 9. Managed procurements of hardware, software and internal/external IT services as required, ensuring appropriate resourcing and funding is available for transition and operation. 10.
