Job Responsibility: This position is responsible for developing creative design solutions for an array of branding and print design projects, including digital and print format. Job Description: Liaise with clients to formulate design concepts, prepare artwork and layouts to produce final print ready artwork that meets clients’ requirements and specification. Utilise Adobe software to design and produce artwork to meet clients’ approval Manage multiple creative projects with critical deadlines Conduct a final quality control on each job before it goes to press Prepare files for print and archiving Maintain good working relationships with and provide design assistance to the other studio members Enhance Colemans Printing’s professional image and reputation in the general marketplace and community Contribute to team targets by providing exceptional customer service at all times Maintain electronic filing of digital files Record time required for each job in print IQ Undertake other duties as directed by senior staff Skills and Experience required: Formal qualifications and/or min. 1 year experience in Graphic Design or a related discipline. Ability to think creatively and innovatively A solid understanding of design techniques, technologies and working processes that are used to deliver creative projects Excellent print production knowledge, including paper types and printing techniques Well-developed skills in graphic design and experience with associated software (Mac-Adobe suite) including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Well-developed oral and written communication skills, and good interpersonal and time management skills Strong work ethic, able to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results Diligence and attention to detail, resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment.
