Join to apply for the Java Fullstack Tech Lead role at Peoplebank 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Java Fullstack Tech Lead role at Peoplebank Seeking a skilled Java Fullstack Tech Lead to join our Federal Government Client. 12 Months Contract with extensions Sydney, NSW Hybrid work flexibility 2-3 days on-site / WFH Key Responsibilities: • The Software Engineer will work as a Full Stack Developer/ Technical Lead • The Software Engineer will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team • Working with and supporting the organization’s product • Leading the team and mentoring junior staff • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders • Delivering high quality pipeline and API code aligned to approved designs and industry best practice implementations • Technical release co-ordination, within the team for weekly releases and to all clients for cutover releases • Proactive management of potential API outages to internal and external clients • Performing other tasks as required by the team to meet business objectives. Required Skills: • Java Full Stack Developer with Tech Lead Experience • Solid experience in Java and Scala, web containers (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss) and web servers (e.g. Apache, IIS) • Building integrations with external systems (APIs, FTP, JSON, EDI, XML) • SQL & NoSQL databases • UNIX and Windows servers • Technologies such as Spark, Postgres, HDFS and Elastic Search • Data modelling and data pipeline design • Technical application support, including building and deploying for one or more IAM product suites • Agile delivery methods and tools (including JIRA, Sprints and Scrums) Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizen with Active Baseline Clearance or NV1 Security Clearance or higher .
