Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Advisor – Maintenance Planner to support the a State Departments Infrastructure Services Division. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant school facilities through expert advice, planning, and delivery of maintenance strategies. Rate: Circa $76.00 per hour super Location: Brisbane CBD with frequent regional travel Contract Length: 9 months with possible extension Responsibilities include: Provide client-focused facilities and maintenance advice across schools and education centres. Develop, oversee, and monitor maintenance plans to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Analyse and interpret asset and maintenance data to guide short- and long-term strategies. Coordinate with regional teams, service providers, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes. Manage capital works, maintenance, and facilities services within scope, budget, and timelines. Prepare reports, ministerial responses, and briefing materials as required. Conduct operational audits and provide professional guidance to regional staff. To be successful you will demonstrate: Strong knowledge of building maintenance processes and asset management systems. Proven experience in facilities planning, maintenance, or asset management. High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems. Flexibility to travel, including week-on/week-off arrangements as required. A valid Blue Card and ability to pass a criminal history check. Desirable: Previous experience in school or building maintenance environments.
