The successful applicant will collaborate with the Head of Arts to deliver high-quality education and support students in their academic journey, ensuring adherence to the school’s mission, vision, and code of conduct. Position Description: Deliver engaging, high-quality Drama lessons aligned with the WA Curriculum (ATAR and General). Foster creativity, collaboration, and inclusive learning environments that support diverse student needs. Collaborate with the Head of Arts and colleagues on programming, assessments, and productions. Support and coordinate College Drama performances, events, and productions. Contribute to students’ academic, social, and spiritual development within a Christian ethos. Participate in the broader life of the College, including co-curricular activities and community events. Position Requirements: Degree in Education with TRBWA registration and recognized teaching qualifications. Demonstrated success in teaching Drama at the secondary school level, with strong curriculum knowledge. Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment using effective management strategies. Proficiency in educational technology and excellent communication skills for building positive relationships. Commitment to the Christian values and ethos of South Coast Baptist College, with a focus on professional growth. Essential Criteria: To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
