The key duties of the position include The Role The School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced APS 5 Systems Development Officer to develop, integrate, secure, and manage ICT systems in support of Space and Cyber learning delivery. Reporting to the APS 6 Systems Development Lead, you will work in a collaborative team of ADF, APS, and industry partners to deliver innovative technical solutions. Your responsibilities may include: Learning management system and online learning platform administration, license management, reporting, and support; Cyber range and simulation environment development and sustainment; Designing, implementing, and accrediting ICT systems; Development of system documentation and procedures; Equipment management and logistics; Intranet content development and administration; Stakeholder relationship management; Providing technical advice and guidance; Assisting with hardware and software procurement activities; Maintaining tactical training equipment and mission systems; Support to course delivery; Support to other functions of the school as required. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
