The Director, Advanced Analytics is responsible for building and leading a team of data specialists - data scientists and data analysts to facilitate the production of high-quality intelligence products and outcomes for internal clients and our National Intelligence Community, law enforcement and international partners. The Director works across the agency, including with strategic analysis, operational analysis, collections and specialist teams to ensure analytic capabilities are effective and outputs are aligned with the TSOC intelligence mission. The key duties of the position include Lead and manage the Intelligence data analytics capability to undertake bespoke analytic projects against a wide array of datasets Lead the development of design, build and procurement of new technologies, tools and methods to generate insight, working across and coordinating business, information technology and corporate support areas Produce tailored and data-centric advice and insight to enable ACIC teams to successfully deliver against the full range of requirements within the TSOC mission. Working with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, champion: Enterprise data governance frameworks and policies that embed accountability for ACIC data, including data stewardship and the enterprise data governance franchise model. Lead the development and enforcement of best-practice governance policies tailored to the intelligence context, ensuring data is fit-for-purpose, ethically used, and compliant. The operationalisation of the enterprise AI Policy, contributing specialist expertise to support risk assessment processes.
