Description About the role Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to join our IT team on a full-time, on-site, and ongoing basis. The Project Engineer will ensure the successful delivery of client and server platforms at the School. The responsibilities of this role are crucial to maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of the School's infrastructure, including: Planning, implementing, and supporting infrastructure projects Maintaining system integrity Managing disaster recovery protocols Acting as an escalation point for complex end-user computing issues. About you We are seeking a senior-level Project Engineer with a strong background in server infrastructure and cyber security. To thrive in this role, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in a computer-related field (such as a Diploma of Information Technology - Advanced Networking) or a higher qualification, or equivalent work experience A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role with senior-level responsibilities Network, server, and/or cybersecurity certifications Proven expertise in managing network and server environments Prior experience in the education sector is highly desirable Eligibility for a Working with Children Check (also known as a Blue Card).
