AML/CTF Reform Act presents opportunities and challenges to Westpac’s Financial Crime teams. Join a growing team at the forefront of Financial Crime transformation. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of critical AML/CTF reform initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS), the Financial Crime Transformation Program, and business divisions to ensure business requirements are understood, prioritised, and delivered. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll help shape the future of financial crime compliance through collaboration, insight, and strong delivery practices. This is a 12-month fixed term role and can be based in either our Kent Street (Sydney CBD) or Parramatta office, with flexible hybrid working arrangements available. What do I need? Proven ability to manage complex business analysis activities, including process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments Strong experience in financial crime operations services, including Customer Due Diligence, Sanctions, Investigations, or Regulatory Reporting, preferably in financial services organisation Experience working across multiple stakeholders and business units to deliver time-sensitive outcomes Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive mindset with the ability to influence, prioritise, and drive change in a dynamic environment Why join us?
