We are a team of OT's who are driven by positive patient outcomes and team work.  We employ over 100 staff just within the OT department and enjoy seeing our team take on opportunities to support their growth and development.  About the Role: This is a part time opportunity is for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health to provide clinical services to an aging inpatient cohort.   The hospital is based in a rural setting, with proximity to nature and with a strong sense of community.  You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate timely discharge plans that are innovative to meet the needs and values of our rural population.   This position is primarily based at Kilmore District Hospital but will work closely with the wider subacute senior clinicians.  This role is responsible for providing evidence-based patient centred care that is supportive of patients wishes, and supports access and flow throughout the health service.   It will have active involvement in the day to day operations of the Kilmore Greiatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) team and will work closely with the wider OT leadership team to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations.  To be successful in this role you will have:  Demonstrated clinical experience within an inpatient setting, preference within an aged cohort Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills An attitude toward life-long learning  Next Steps . . .  If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
