Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Maintain, establish, and develop corporate documentation standards and procedures, ensuring adherence on relevant projects. Prepare high-quality detail drawings using engineering designs and advanced knowledge of design, modelling, and drafting principles. Ensure consistent application of client standards across all relevant projects. Coordinate and collaborate on multi-discipline projects for seamless integration through tools and systems. Maintain internal client relationships, deliver project results, and communicate clearly, even during difficult conversations. Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and provide clear delivery timeframes. Contribute to GHD business goals by completing delegated tasks within allocated budget and timeframe. Punctually complete essential business information and all tasks supporting internal customer needs. Continuously develop drafting skills through mentorship, professional involvement, and competency goals. Apply skills across office and field phases including design, drawings, and studies. Provide basic training and mentorship to trainee and junior drafters. What you will bring to the team: A Diploma in Civil Drafting/ Engineering from a Recognised Training Centre (RTO) and minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (consulting industry preferred). A developed knowledge of civil drafting and design principles used in producing final documentation. Solid understanding of AutoCAD design software. Experience in other design packages such as 12d and/or MicroStation is desirable. Well-developed verbal communication skills and a proven attention to detail. The ability to manage strict deadlines to ensure the work is completed on time and to a high standard. Strong understanding of safety in design aspects as they apply to relevant projects.
