We're seeking reliable and mechanically minded Factory Hands to join one of our well-established metal manufacturing clients located in Thomastown . With multiple positions available across both Day and Afternoon Shifts , this is a great opportunity for hands-on workers to step into a specialised environment handling and processing heavy metals in both solid and molten states. Pay Rate: Day-Shift: $35.15 per hour Afternoon-Shift: $40.42 per hour Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Duties in the role include: Operating hydraulic extrusion presses and heavy machinery Hand casting and pouring molten metal Operating melting pots, rolling mills, and lead sheet production machines Loading/unloading de-reeling and slitting equipment Assisting with robot palletising, paint application, sealing, and packaging machines Shot blasting and use of waterjet cutters General housekeeping and rotating tasks as required What we're looking for: Previous experience in metal fabrication, casting, galvanising, moulding, or similar industries highly regarded Physically fit and comfortable working in hot and heavy-duty environments Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn new machinery and processes Flexible to rotate between varied factory and production tasks Reliable and available for immediate start If you're hands-on, dependable, and ready to take on a new challenge in a specialised manufacturing environment, APPLY NOW to secure your spot on either Day or Afternoon Shift !
