Job Description We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, customer-focused Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant café at Oaks R Suites Geelong. About the role: As Café Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the café’s success ensuring a warm atmosphere, top-tier service, and strong operational results. You’ll lead a passionate team, manage day-to-day operations, and have the freedom to influence our food and beverage offering. Your Key Responsibilities: Oversee the café’s open/close procedures, maintain cleanliness and standards, and step in on barista and front-of-house duties as needed. Recruit, train, roster and mentor a high-performing front-of-house team, fostering a positive and service-driven culture. Manage budgets, cash handling, payroll, and supplier relationships with a commercial focus. Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and maintain strong supplier communication to ensure smooth service. Collaborate on seasonal menus, guest specials, and signature items to keep the offering fresh and exciting. Work with Front Office Managers to identify ways to increase guest capture and boost café foot traffic.
