We are committed to safety, teamwork, and delivering excellence in everything we do. We are currently looking for an experienced and trade qualified Heavy Duty Field Mechanic to join our team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment on-site. This is a hands-on position, requiring a proactive approach to ensuring that our fleet and machinery remain in optimal condition and continue to perform at their best. Day to day responsibilities will include : Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, and other machinery. Perform preventative maintenance checks and services. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more. Respond to breakdowns and emergency calls in the field in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate service records and reports. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with other team members and management to ensure the smooth running of operations. To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate : Trade Certificate in Heavy Duty or Automotive Mechanics. Proven experience in a similar field mechanic role. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively. White Card (Construction Induction). Valid driver's license (HR or higher preferred). Experience working with road haulage and heavy plant equipment. Willingness to travel to various job sites and work flexible hours as required.
