About the role On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Sheetmetal Worker to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible for marking out, shaping, forming and joining Sheetmetal and other materials to make products and components. Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain Sheetmetal products, including ducts, pipes, and panels. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and layout. Operate machinery, including presses, shears, and welding equipment to shape and cut materials. Measure, cut, and assemble metal sheets to create ductwork and other HVAC components. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing systems as needed. Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure the timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure a safe work environment. Essential Skills Strong knowledge of sheet metal tools, techniques, and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with workplace safety and compliance with health regulations. Qualifications needed: Trade qualification in Sheetmetal or relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation. Minimum of 1 year of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a similar role.
