Responsibilities: Lead strategic business development initiatives and manage complex commercial negotiations for renewable gas and biofuel projects across agriculture, wastewater, and industrial sectors Manage and mentor the business development team, providing guidance on project feasibility studies, commercial structuring, and stakeholder engagement Develop and execute strategic partnerships with key industry players including gas network operators, energy traders, retailers and government Lead development and negotiation of complex commercial agreements including project development agreements, offtake agreements, joint venture structures, and international partnership frameworks Oversee project feasibility studies and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and regulatory specialists Provide strategic input to policy development and regulatory consultation processes, representing LMS at senior government and industry forums Manage project portfolio optimisation and resource allocation across multiple development opportunities Lead preparation of investment proposals, board presentations, and strategic planning documents for executive management Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with feedstock suppliers, offtake partners, technology providers, and financial institutions Requirements 8 years’ experience in senior business development or commercial management roles within renewable energy, biogas, oil and gas, or related industries Proven track record of leading successful project development and commercial negotiations with demonstrated results in securing significant commercial opportunities Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field Advanced commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in complex financial modelling, project structuring, and investment analysis Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting renewable gas including carbon credit mechanisms, renewable energy certificates, and gas market regulations Regular interstate travel requirements Australian Drivers Licence Upholds LMS’ company values and culture Please email applications to employment@lms.com.au , quoting job reference COR-073-120825 .
