We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a small, friendly team based in Bayswater. This is a full-time, hands-on role within a steel fabrication business that specialises in supplying light-gauge steel products to the construction industry. Working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, the role involves regular forklift operation and requires someone confident loading and unloading vehicles with steel lengths up to 5 metres. The successful candidate will also support the factory team with general duties and assist across production as required. Key Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks with steel trusses, frames, and ancillary items Operate a forklift to move packs of framing up to 5m in length Perform general factory hand duties including manual handling and clean-up Assist with goods inwards and outwards Monitor stock levels and notify the team when items are running low Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area Key Requirements: A current forklift ticket and confident forklift operating skills Previous experience working in a warehouse, yard, or manufacturing environment Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player Able to take initiative and assist where needed across the site This is a stable, full-time opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in a growing business.
