Description The opportunity The Project Manager delivers projects across capital water infrastructure including wastewater pump stations, new wastewater and water pipelines, network renewals, water main replacements and more across Logan’s Water Network. In addition to managing the Delivery phase of your part of the program’s wastewater infrastructure and renewals projects, you will be collaborating with design, scheduling, procurement, commissioning and operation and maintenance teams to ensure project success.Our team is at the forefront of a diverse range of civil construction initiatives, including water and wastewater treatment plants, expansive water and wastewater networks, critical asset renewal projects, and flagship sustainable energy and utilities projects. Join us in this fast-paced, stable, and highly rewarding program, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry while benefiting from a robust pipeline of long-term, local opportunities.You will be joining a well-established, high functioning and integrated multi-discipline Water Partnership team, which has been delivering new and renewed water and wastewater assets for Logan since 2010. What you’ll do Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of projects varying in size and scope, through detailed design, estimate development and delivery. Foster a culture of innovation, proactively develop members, provide mentoring, leading by example and demonstrating a strong commitment to the Downer Standard and Zero Harm. Support budget management processes and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to optimise cost, implement improvements, ensure accurate records, reports and forecasting. Support procurement processes including implementation of Procurement Management Plan, Subcontractor engagement processes and supplier processes. Build strong relationships across design teams, clients and internal stakeholders to support optimal delivery across projects and greater partnership. Project Management certification and RPEQ or willingness to obtain.
