What’s on Offer: $38 per hour penalties Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm Overtime and weekend shifts available Ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent Work with a well-established and safety-focused steel manufacturer The Role: As a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient handling of steel products of varying sizes and shapes. You’ll be confident managing awkward or non-standard freight and experienced with long loads such as timber, pipes, or steel. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to move and manage heavy steel products Safely load and unload trucks Handle long or irregular freight with care and precision Maintain a tidy and organised yard Follow all workplace health and safety procedures What We’re Looking For: Current forklift licence and proven experience Strong track record handling awkward or oversized loads Background in steel, timber, or pipe industries highly regarded Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing PPE Required: Long sleeve hi-vis shirt Long work pants Steel cap lace-up boots Next Steps: This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with a respected employer.
