Blake Oliver Consulting has been engaged by a specialist consulting and technology firm focused on insurance transformation to appoint an Account Executive. This senior client-facing role will oversee key insurance accounts, drive business growth, and ensure the delivery of complex solutions that align to client objectives. This is a visible role within a practice that specialises in modern insurance platforms, particularly Duck Creek and Guidewire. You’ll operate as the primary partner for enterprise-scale clients, shaping strategy, driving solution adoption, and guiding delivery teams. This role offers: Ownership of major insurance client relationships The opportunity to shape account strategy and growth pathways Exposure to large, complex programs using leading platforms (Duck Creek, Guidewire) Collaboration with senior architects, delivery leads, and consulting leaders Clear progression into broader account leadership or practice management roles What you’ll do Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships Understand client business needs and provide tailored solutions Oversee delivery of implementations, ensuring projects are on track for scope, quality, and budget Identify opportunities for account growth, including upsell and cross-sell of services and solutions Partner with delivery teams to ensure high standards of execution Provide governance, reporting, and regular updates to clients and internal leadership Mentor junior staff and support skill development within the account team What we’re looking for 10–15 years of IT sales experience, including 5 years in the insurance domain Strong knowledge of Policy, Billing, and Claims modules (Duck Creek/Guidewire preferred) Strong ability and track record in business development both in established and net-new accounts Proven success in managing large, complex accounts and engagements Familiarity with P&C system architecture, integration, and configuration best practice Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies Equal Opportunity Employment Blake Oliver Consulting and our client are equal opportunity employers.
