This role plays a key part in ensuring a safe, homelike environment for residents, families, and staff, while overseeing maintenance operations and leading a small team. You’ll be responsible for coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance, environmental and workplace safety, grounds and gardens, and waste management. The role also involves contractor management and ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements. What you will do: As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will: Lead and support the Maintenance Team to deliver safe, efficient services Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance schedules Maintain a safe environment by identifying and managing risks Manage grounds, gardens, and waste safely and effectively Liaise with contractors and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Support a positive resident experience by creating safe and welcoming surroundings Selection Criteria At least 2 years’ experience in a maintenance or related role (essential) Experience in aged care or retirement living (desirable) Trade qualification (desirable) WHS certification (desirable) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) Apply Now!
