As a Traffic Control Scheduler, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — coordinating and rostering dynamic traffic control crews to support key client projects across the region. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Rostering of traffic control crew members to ensure client schedules are filled swiftly and services provided are of a high-quality standard Allocation and maximisation of fleet and equipment utilisation Organise vehicle maintenance schedules Assist with drug and alcohol testing (if suitably qualified) Booking accommodation (where required) Monitor and allocate personal protective equipment Answering calls and assist with customer service enquiries Manage the after hours on-call phone and respond to calls promptly Reporting safety concerns to Traffic Control Planner and Management Communication of SWMS, TMP and TGSs to teams Assist with recruitment and induction of new staff Tracking staff qualifications to ensure compliance Update record management systems General administration duties Expected working hours are 38 hours – 5 days per week with the requirement to do on call weeknights and every 2nd weekend. Generous on-call allowances apply! Essential Criteria Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar rostering or scheduling role (preferred) Experience in Traffic Control and/or Recruitment industry would be highly advantageous Strong time management and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong computer and administrative skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stay calm and maintain professionalism in a high-pressure environment Passionate about working with people Being motivated by challenges, problem-solving and meeting deadlines Organisational skills and ability to multitask Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting others.
