Description About the role The Head of Department (HoD) of Modern History will report to the Director of Faculty and actively support the school’s aspirations and strategic goals, contributing to a rich educational environment. The responsibilities of the incoming HoD of Modern History will include supporting and growing the embedded excellence in the teaching of History as a discipline, curriculum development and the administration of History programs for Years 7 to 12, with a particular emphasis on the senior years. Additionally, the HoD of Modern History will promote a collaborative and high-performing culture within the Department. The Head of Department Modern History works collaboratively with the Head of Department Ancient History and other History-based PARs in the Faculty.
