About the Role: You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire doors, passive fire protection systems, and related equipment while delivering high-quality service to a diverse client base. Our client is open to candidates who: Already work in the fire protection industry, or Are qualified Carpenters keen to upskill and gain nationally recognised fire safety qualifications. Must Have QBCC License and QBCC trade qualifications. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair fire doors, fire shutters, passive systems, and related equipment. Conduct inspections, testing, and defect reporting in line with Australian Standards. Recommend upgrades and provide repair quotations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedural requirements. Travel as required and participate in on-call rosters. About You Qualified Carpenter (QLD trade qualification or equivalent). QBCC Doors and Passive Stream licence highly regarded. Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1851, AS1905) desirable. Experience in fire doors or passive systems an advantage (not essential for new starters). Current driver’s licence. Ability to work flexible rosters (5/2, 4/3, or 7/7). FIFO, DIDO, or local options available. Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, and site inductions are advantageous. What’s on Offer Competitive salary $100,000 – $150,000 plus overtime and allowances.
