The Role As the Key Relationships Manager, you hold responsibility for growing major gifts fundraising revenue through exceptional and proactive relationship management of Oxfam Australia’s key supporters (Major Donors) and key supporter prospects based in Victoria and Tasmania. The role is part of the Philanthropic Partnerships team and sits in the Fundraising and Resource Growth Section (FRG) at Oxfam Australia. In this role you are required to develop and implement the personalised cultivation and solicitation strategies to engage major donor prospects and retain and upgrade existing key supporters. You will make a substantial contribution to securing Oxfam Australia’s income and growth targets, enabling the organisation to advance our shared purpose of achieving a just and sustainable world without poverty. Skills And Experiences A little about you (the key selection criteria) To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated 3 years’ experience in Major Gift fundraising (or closely related experience) with a proven success record in building strong and long-lasting relationships. Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets and a track record of securing major gifts/grants of $50,000 and higher from high net-worth individuals and trusts/foundations. Strong negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to identify stakeholder priorities and aspirations through active listening. Superb oral and written communication, presentation and promotion skills to communicate Oxfam priorities to a wide range of audiences, including major donors, trust and foundation representatives, board members and volunteers A strong commitment to Oxfam Australia’s values, essential in achieving desired results in all aspects of our work We can offer you A base salary of $98,535.26 (Category 3 Increment A) to $113,928.91 (Category 3 Increment E) plus superannuation, superior leave benefits and access to a generous not-for-profit salary packaging program (up to $18,450 of your salary tax-free) . In line with our enterprise agreement, all incoming employees commence on Increment A of their relevant pay category.
