We are looking for an experienced Feedlot Hand / Mill Operator to join our client's team based outside of Dalby, Queensland. This is a hands-on role in a busy beef feedlot, suited to someone with a background in feedlot operations, feed batching, and machinery operation. The Role Operating the feedmill and batching system to develop accurate mixed rations that meet nutritional requirements Processing grain to a high standard and ensuring milling operations run smoothly Delivering rations across the feedlot using modern trucks, loaders and tractors Monitoring commodity levels, assisting with storage and handling of feed inputs Carrying out daily machinery checks, servicing, and greasing schedules Pen checking cattle, monitoring health and behaviour, and reporting issues promptly Cleaning and maintaining water troughs, repairing pipes, and ensuring reliable water supply Assisting with cattle processing and yard work when required General feedlot and infrastructure maintenance including fencing, spraying, mowing, and upkeep of equipment, when required.
