About the role Are you a strategic technology leader ready to shape the future of energy? We’re looking for a Head of Technology to partner with our Electrification & Innovation and Commercial & Industrial business units, driving digital transformation and delivering impactful technology outcomes. About the Role As the Head of Technology for E&I and C&I , you’ll be the key technology partner to senior business leaders, responsible for aligning technology strategy with business goals. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage a ~$20M project portfolio and ~$10M operational budget, and ensure the delivery of scalable, innovative, and efficient technology solutions. What you’ll be doing - Act as the technology partner for the GMs of E&I and C&I, providing strategic guidance and shaping technology roadmaps that align with business goals. Own the end-to-end technology lifecycle across your domain – from plan, build, and run – ensuring performance, resilience, and compliance. Lead and inspire a team of delivery and operational tech professionals, building a high-performing, business-aligned capability. Ensure governance across projects and BAU, including budgeting, resourcing, supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Collaborate across Technology teams and the wider business to ensure seamless integration, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise alignment. You’re a strategic, execution-focused leader who can bridge business ambition and technology execution. You’ll bring: Proven leadership in enterprise-scale tech environments, with deep experience in IT delivery, operations, and third-party/vendor management. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, able to align technology initiatives with commercial and operational goals – ideally within energy, electrification, or C&I markets. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, building trusted relationships with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated success in leading Agile and operational teams, with a focus on continuous improvement, delivery efficiency, and measurable outcomes. Capability in team development, risk management, and budget oversight, with a passion for building high-performing, future-fit team.
