The Opportunity We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled Civil Designer/Drafter to join this growing civil design team. This role is perfect for someone with 3–5 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects across WA, looking to work on a broad range of subdivisions, private/commercial developments, and public infrastructure. You’ll be involved in delivering high-quality design and drafting documentation, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and contributing to the development of civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed civil design and drafting documentation for: Earthworks and grading Roadworks and footpaths Stormwater drainage Sewer and water reticulation Car parks and vehicle accessways Retaining walls and utility/service alignments Interpret engineering sketches and prepare drawings in line with Australian Standards and WA-specific requirements. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and external consultants to ensure timely, accurate outputs. Prepare design packages for development approvals, tendering, and construction. Maintain and update CAD and 12D models throughout project lifecycles. Participate in design reviews and implement mark-ups. About You 3–5 years’ relevant civil drafting/design experience in WA. Beginner to intermediate 12D experience. Advanced skills in AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D and/or Revit is desirable. Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines, and local authority requirements. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
