Introduction Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL ) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10 year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines. Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate. Description The focus of this role is to understand the geological properties of Bellevue Gold Mine and to provide effective geological information, interpretation and advice. Contribute to the growth of the team through leadership and mentoring. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Develop, implement and monitor various underground geology procedures Design and track UG drilling activities and programs to meet and comply with the Geology targets, including contractor management Ensure UG drill platforms are adequate and available according to the schedule Assist with underground mapping activities Effective collaboration with engineers and other stakeholders for planning, execution, and business improvement opportunities Supervise and train Geologists for underground activities Ensure the provision of quality logging, sampling and QAQC practices from resource definition and grade control drilling programs Assist exploration/growth activities as required at BGO Assist with interpretation of significant geological structures, lithology and mineralised lodes within the mine Track daily and monthly production and report on reconciliation performance Identify ESG improvements within the Geology team and at BGO Weekly/monthly reporting of UG geology related activities Ensure UG activities are completed in accordance with all relevant H&S policies and procedures Skills And Experiences Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience: Tertiary Qualification in Geology At least 5 years in mining including minimum of 2 years in an UG production role Sound knowledge of mapping, structural geology, drilling and sampling techniques and underground production. Some understanding of resource estimation methods would be beneficial Competent user of mining and geology related software packages Understanding of general mining operations, Gold experience highly desirable Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management skills Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to the relevant Government authorities and investors/shareholders as required Demonstrated leadership skills; inclusive of training and retention of technical and field staff and consultants BGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organisation which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
