Our local government client in Blacktown is currently seeking a skilled General Tradesperson to join their team in maintaining buildings and infrastructure across the region. In this hands-on role, you will carry out a variety of maintenance tasks on Council assets, conduct building inspections, and support the training and supervision of apprentices as needed. About the role: Monday - Friday 0600-1500 Pay: $36.13 p/h Perform maintenance and repair work on Council buildings and infrastructure Carry out asset inspections and accurately record findings Supervise and mentor apprentices when required Complete job records and assist with purchasing materials Ensure secure storage of tools, equipment, and materials Report any loss or damage to Council property Requirements: Trade Certificate in a relevant field (Post-Trade or Advanced Certificate preferred) Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship MR Class Driver's Licence Strong understanding of maintenance practices and record-keeping If this opportunity sounds like you apply below or email a resume to taylor.mead@excels.com.au
