The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a skilled individual to fill this role in a full-time capacity, based in Pittsworth, QLD. At McLean Farms our core values guide everything we do: We Care – We nurture our people, animals, environment, workplace, and community We Are One Team – We work together towards a common goal in a respectful and effective manner We Aim for Excellence – We strive to improve continuously We Find a Way – We work together to find solutions to every challenge We Do the Right Thing – We make decisions and choose behaviours knowing what is right and what is wrong Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on MOBA egg grading machines and related equipment Perform tasks such as calibration and adjustments to ensure machines run efficiently Identify and implement improvements to optimise equipment performance and reduce downtime Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs to minimise disruptions Support safety inspections and help identify and reduce machinery risks Keep accurate maintenance records, including parts used and work completed Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement as needed Train operators and staff on machine use, maintenance, and safety procedures Work closely with the maintenance and production teams on repairs and improvement projects Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor egg grading systems Liaise with equipment suppliers to integrate automated systems smoothly.
