Join us on an exciting max-term parental leave cover contract and be part of our iconic Project Compassion campaign, celebrating 60 years of impact! In this role, you’ll craft compelling fundraising content—written, visual, and multimedia—that reflects our mission and deeply connects with schools, parishes, and communities across Australia. Join a passionate team driving meaningful social change through innovative campaigns and powerful storytelling. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Develop and deliver engaging fundraising content and social media strategies to boost visibility and inspire action. Collaborate with internal teams to support and fundraise for Project Compassion, emergency appeals, and other initiatives. Source and share authentic stories from the field that highlight the impact of donor support. Monitor content performance and use insights to continually optimise campaign strategies and supporter engagement. This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week. Who are we looking for? The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australia’s mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all, as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience. Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and persuasive content tailored to diverse audiences. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced campaign environment.
