The Role The successful candidate will join a dynamic national team, providing complex legal advice to private and public sector clients on a diverse range of commercial, taxation, and insolvency disputes. This position is ideal for a practitioner seeking to develop their own client base while leveraging the support and resources of an established team. The role involves working closely with partners and colleagues to hone business development skills and grow a personal practice. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of dispute resolution and insolvency matters from inception to conclusion, including research, drafting pleadings and submissions, court appearances, and negotiations. Providing legal advice and support to clients on issues such as bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership, and insolvency litigation. Collaborating with clients, partners, and team members to develop and implement effective dispute and insolvency strategies. Assisting in the training and development of junior team members. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: Over 3 years of post-admission experience. Previous experience in disputes and/or insolvency. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with regular court appearances expected. Strong attention to detail and technical expertise. High-level problem-solving abilities and a quick learner. Effective time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects and priorities. A strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Willingness to build networks and actively participate in marketing and business development initiatives.
