Job Title: Project Manager Location: Town Hall, Sydney Company Overview We are a boutique property development company. We manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from residential developments to large-scale apartment projects, with current assets under development exceeding $100M in value. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver our Class 1 residential projects (single dwellings, townhouses, and duplexes). Around half of these projects are already in the construction phase, making strong construction management experience essential. Experience in property development, particularly in early-stage planning and approval will be highly regarded. The role works closely with another Project Coordinator and a dedicated project team of three, and offers exposure to apartment developments, house & land projects, and DA-stage developments. Key Responsibilities - Manage Class 1 residential projects from construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. - Oversee contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. - Monitor construction progress, budgets, and schedules, resolving issues promptly. - Collaborate with the development team on early-stage DA and CC projects. - Prepare and present progress reports to senior management. - Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and legal obligations. - Support the delivery of apartment and house & land (H&L) projects, including exposure to DA and CC stages. Requirements - Proven experience in construction management, ideally within residential developments. - Strong understanding of the construction process, project scheduling, budgeting, and compliance. - Experience managing contractors and liaising with stakeholders. - Property development experience (DA, CC stages) is a strong plus. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
