ABOUT THE ROLE As a Plant Operator (Maintenance), you will be required to operate a variety of machinery, either with RTO license or under the Mort & Co Verification of Competency Program. To ensure operations are completed safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including company policies and procedures, this key role will be responsible for: carrying out pen cleaning, maintenance of grounds and equipment, undertaking machinery operations and control including routine maintenance pre-starts per OEM procedures Ensuring that the health and welfare of livestock is given first priority ensuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working order carrying out duties in a manner that prioritises own health and safety and that of others communicating relevant information regarding faults with machinery being operated ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have experience in maintenance of grounds and equipment, together with: Demonstrated skill, ability and experience across a variety of heavy equipment operations A focus on working safely An ability to work cooperatively with a team Good organisation and communication skills including an ability to use own initiative WHY WORK WITH US? This position is required to work a 5 on 2 off roster initially, and will switch to a 10 on 4 off roster after initial training.
