Manages disciplinary and workplace complaints Government client 6 month temp role/Flexible work arrangements Our client has an urgent need for a suitably qualified candidate with experience overseeing and managing the investigation of complaints for staff and members. You will manage all aspects of staff complaints, grievances, conduct, performance and disciplinary matters allocated to this role, including undertaking preliminary fact-finding, risk assessments, providing solutions and recommendations to facilitate early interventions and strategies and effectively resolve matters in a timely manner . You will also conduct and assist with disciplinary or other investigations, inquiries into complaints or reviews and provide reports and recommendations for consideration. Collaborating with strategic people partners you will design, plan and implement early intervention strategies and solutions to resolve issues relating to professional standards. This includes providing timely professional support, advice and training to supervisors and those involved in complaints and disciplinary processes to facilitate resolution of complaints and conflict. Suitable candidates will have at least 10 years’ experience in conducting investigations and managing and overseeing disciplinary and workplace complaints that can result in termination of employment. You will have a strong background in workplace investigations around misconduct, grievances and performance issues preferably in the NSW Government sector or other large, diverse and unionised sectors. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as law and/or demonstrated relevant professional experience is required.
