As National Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager, you’ll lead the development and delivery of Aussie Broadband’s workplace HSW strategy, with a strong focus on compliance, mental health, and continuous improvement. You’ll guide teams across Australia with consideration to a international landscape, support our leaders, and help shape a culture of care and accountability. You’re poised navigating complex legislation, balancing priorities, and fostering a culture of wellbeing and accountability. A diploma or higher qualification in WHS /OHS , or extensive experience in WHS roles Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and psychosocial hazard management Experience guiding safety functions and supporting operational teams Strong understanding of good change management practices Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships Experience conducting investigations, audits, and implementing risk control projects A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Skilled in a pproach ing problems with curiosity and adaptability in changing environments Understanding of the telco industry (a bonus) Alignment with Aussie Broadband’s values and purpose How will you support our “Why?” You’ll bring our values to life by embedding safety and wellbeing into every part of our business. As the National HSW Manager, you’ll guide the development and implementation of our HSW strategy and help shape a culture where physical and mental wellbeing are prioritised. You’ll ensure compliance, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across our safety systems and practices. Developing and implementing a HSW strategy with a continuous improvement focus Embedding aligned legislative frameworks such as Respect@Work into our HSW strategy to proactively manage psychosocial risks, support legal compliance, and drive industry best practice Driving our proactive Psychosocial hazard management program and mental health awareness Directing the rollout of a compliant HSW M anagement S ystem Supporting our team in the ongoing development, implementation, and management of innovative HSW programs Developing performance reports that help inform operational decisions , drive leadership accountability, and provide visibility to our Board . Undertake regular analysis of HSW trends , events , and observations , providing responses, reports, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership M aintain ing and evolving our HSW risk register that informs our risk management initiatives Staying across legislative changes and industry best practice Advising and coaching senior leaders and operational teams Supporting injured workers and managing our injury management processes Engaging with regulators as required Ready to join?
